Project Description

The scope of work consisted of design assistance, preparation of GMP budget, procurement of State MDE permits, site grading and improvements for the construction of a cast in place concrete structure. Other work included all supporting electrical power distribution and HVAC.
The RSAF features include an aircraft positioning tilt-table system that is able to support and secure a complete spectrum of operational helicopters in various orientations, allowing for an expanded set of shot-lines from underneath the aircraft. Ballistic firing capability will include small arms, anti-aircraft artillery, high explosive warheads, and several non-conventional munitions. The RASF will provide new and improved capabilities for conducting ballistic vulnerability/lethality research
on modern Army and other US service and foreign threat rotary-wing aircraft.
