For Gary Ziervogel, Superintendent at Kimball, juggling responsibilities is nothing new. Aside from his 25 years in the construction business, Gary, along with his wife Erica, are raising four boys, ages 7 to 14, in school, baseball, soccer, and Boy Scouts. Multi-tasking is a way of life at home and during Gary’s days working on projects for Kimball. Since 1996, when Gary joined the team, his responsibilities with Kimball have gone from carpenter, foreman, general foreman, and since 2002, superintendent. [Read more...]
During a recent visit with Constellation Energy at its CP Crane Generating Station to discuss a maintenance project, Kimball Construction Senior Project Manager, Gar y Gribble, was introduced to one of Constellation Energy’s equipment vendors. Clean Coal Solutions was under contract with Constellation Energy to furnish and install CyClean; a combustion additive technology designed to help cyclone boilers improve operability and meet stringent environmental regulations with a 20% reduction in NOx and a 90% reduction of mercury emissions.
